I wear a mask to hide what you cannot see the mask is deep inside beyond what i vainly call me it covers the pain i have left behind it covers a mind dulled from nutures grind I wear a mask white as purest snow dark as my own dead soul it shows each a different face a myriad image constantly fluctuates like a perfect diamond caught by a ray of light you see me then ... nothing I wear a mask it defines me i see others and their masks they do not realise they wear them but I see them a new face for all always the same I wear a mask Take a good look at my face Well, don't my smile look out of place look a little closer its easy to trace The tracks of my tears [This message has been edited by Walter Poe (12-09-2002 12:13 PM).] |

Well done. Though sometimes we wear a mask so long, we forget what lies beneath the plastic cover. Best to you, and keep up the good work. Always, GG - And so it was that time stood still - |

well done......... My Real Self . I am integrated with a lifetimes worth of experiences. Highs-lows Laughs-cries Loves-hates All culminate to form, My Real Self. But this is not the self I choose To reveal to the world outside. That self wears a myriad masks, And these masks though all unique. Perform but one task, To disguise My Real Self from prying eyes. . Enotneicna Words are my medicine. |
