I Count The Days

Each day that goes by
Is just one more day closer
To the dreams I have

I do count the days
To be able to leave here
For a life brand new

To be by myself
After all these years with you
Looks real good to me

It may take some time
To forget all I went through
When I was with you

Those days will lessen
As the time does go on by
With no thoughts of you

And maybe some day
I will feel some forgiveness
In my heart again
