Some days I think what it’ll be like to touch you. Some days I think what it’ll be like to kiss you. The days I think to myself enter my mind in a flood. Without you with me, my body feels dead. I would do anything for you, if only you make this dream come true. Our love would be true, and I wouldn’t do anything to harm you. The way I look at you, you never notice. The things I say to you, you’ll never understand. You’re a big woman, that’s hurting a man. How do you do what you to do me, I really don’t know. Maybe one day I’ll get the courage to you ask you to be mine. Some days I feel ill, but somehow you give me the will. As I wake up and think to myself, "Is this that day?" "Or is this just another some day?" |

Wow... I wasn't expecting such the response for my first poem. Actually, that poem was written about a girl I had a crush on around a year ago. I asked her, and it didn't turn out too well, but I just wanted to see how others liked my poem. I'm not really a poet, and I don't write regularly. It was just a spare of the moment thing actually. I have written others (very depressing about lost lovers), but I've thrown them away as the scars are too deep to be reminded of. If I ever do write any other work I'll be sure to post it here. Thanks for all the feedback. |
