The geese left today
for warmer waters
and my heart flew with them
in anticipation
of you.

Why is it
the sun shines today
for everyone but me?
Why is it
the clouds follow me
with darkness and gloom?

The geese left today.
I chose to stay.
After all, this weather
can't last forever.

Beautiful.
The geese always return my friend.  As we become more seasoned, we share this truth.

So true and something for us to remember in the winter of life.

Enjoyed much.

Sy, Diamond, Pat: Thanks for hanging in here with me. I'm sure it will be sunny tomorrow. If not, well, eventually.

love this analogy and imagery Kacy...
a bittersweet beauty here.
We all seem to be trying to hold back winter this year. Im still at the beach

just one line ... one rhyme ... one metered verse ...
if only I could inspire in you ... promised poetic coerce.

(big hugggssssssss) Yes, it reminds me of that advice where if you're lost, you should just stay where you are as someone is looking for you and if you go on looking you only get yourself more lost! (kiss on cheek) This is very heartfelt, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Noah, thanks for reading. But then, you always read my stuff!

Duncan, great idea! I'll bring the bucket and shovel (or straw) if you bring the Cuervo gold.

I hope tomorrow is a whole lot better for you. They say "nothing lasts forever". But, I hope tomorrow is a much better day for you, and it lasts for an eternity.

MVS, how true. Whither shall I wander?

Smart Chickadee, yes, it will be OK, so will I.
