This restless heart that surfs the avalanche of overwhelm
Geese ribbons fly just overhead, and spirit takes the helm
Impatient as the day that I was born, and never rested since
And make my way on snow-blind faith despite a frightened wince

While some may say as sight unseen a dream prevails in dust
Formations drive in lacy thrive and follow through I must
And as the day may take away another few coins from the pot
This restless heart burns hotter still to steel the rumbling lot

All in good time that which is mine will stand in flicker free
Geese ribbons fly about the sky in haunting call to me
As I should go my life will flow without my want or will
This restless heart will not depart of what will drive me still

I so enjoy your poetry. I liked these phrases:

"avalanche of overwhelm"

"geese ribbons fly"

"snow-blind faith"

This is a beautiful poem.

Warm regards, Pat

"And make my way on snow-blind faith despite a frightened wince"

This, sweet Kathleen, is what really stood out to me.
