and I wait
in white--
taut stapled
to a wooden frame,
thirsty for
liquid colors
on soft sable
sweeping through my mind;
slow-brushed strokes
sinking into fiber,
while pastel tones
speak in skin murmurs
up and down my spine

~~merging~~

to royal bold
where vertical
and horizontal lines meet
at once-white angle,
absorbing fallout
of a primary-colored
explosion

ah yes, my love,
'tis the artist
in his finest hour
seducing me
in the prism
of my mind,
and I
am swept away~~

Sadpiper, What a canvas you painted.
This is terrific. Enjoyed. Re-read it a couple times as vision sinks into your artist endeavors. It is a
~mind~ sweeper...

Warm regards, Pat

Or will the finer brush sing jewel tones, or flay in filiments of a pastel? So bold the primal colors when they're flown, may be a rainbow fount's artesian well.

This is a "WOW!" for certain. We really are colored by how we respond to our experiences, aren't we. This has so many dimensions to it, besides the main one of being affected by that special someone.

Great read!

I really love your style, the imagery is wonderful and intense.  In a word: excellent.
