Catharsis through nicotine. You laugh at my misery.
Tears are trickling like a broken rosary...
Before you imprison me, give me a reason.
Give me a cross, before You expose me.

I drift like a ghost through the fog of December,
Leaving no footprints, -- no one will find me.
Goodness, forgive me before I surrender.
Give me my freedom before You confine me.

My scarf weaves a noose -- I’m losing my sanity.
The thorns of my crown cut my flesh to the skull.
Before You abandon me, blossom inside of me...
Give me some silence and I’ll answer Your call.

"I drift like a ghost through the fog of December,

Alone, abandoned, drifting. Up in smoke?
Hope these blue pages provide a refuge of sorts.

"Tears are trickling like a broken rosary..."

Brilliant!--yet incredibly dark--and sad!

~ Sending you lots of good thoughts and best wishes
