Voices Of Heat You have a voice that caresses my ear That strokes my soul with heat I hear Your liquid fire just drips through me Urging me to behave quite sinfully If I cede to the heat as I know I will Far into the night it will hold me still I know that from this I’ll never be free The urge to sin will flare constantly Your voice pours forth honeyed charm Which soothes my soul in oceans of calm And although I try hard to resist the sin That beckons me to come on in I know I’ll succumb to the lure of this The heated moments of poetic bliss Then when I’m covered by your heat I’ll respond again to its impassioned beat Your voice speaks enchantment’s spell It touches my soul too much and well Then while I am bespelled like this I can feel again the magic of poet’s kiss Wrapping my soul in the need for heat It saps my will and speeds heart’s beat I’ll sinker deeper into the wish for such That is conjured by your voices touch Stroke your voice through my mind again Let me revel once more in its honeyed flame Marsha Breathe through the heat of our desire |

"Stroke your voice through my mind again Let me revel once more in its honeyed flame"  The whole poem is beautiful, but this verse especially stood out to me. "Love makes the world go around" |
