In the cavern
of revelry
the handmaids knead
the bags of pipe.

A tavern
of an offering--
a boast of spring
in this desert...dry.

Let me
wipe the dust from you--
I beckon you to do the same...
Let me
turn my back to you
and swear I won't be stabbed again.

buttons
edge themselves
undone
buttons
hanging on a thread
following
a path
of sun
following
my own footstep.

In the cavern
of revelry
the handmaids knead
the bags of pipe...

I will take
just what I need--
I will sing
along with strife.

I will be
the bellow's blow.
I am that part of you--
let go

In the cave
of handmaids knead--
I turn and pray
that I might sleep...tonight.

great phrase...
did you get any sleep?
I wonder sometimes. I remember the days of walking around like a Zombie... sure glad those days are over,
or at least for now.

serenity,
you would win hands down in a duel of wits

Sometimes I trip over you and wonder, how did I miss this before, it (she) is so remarkable?

(smiles) And you will not only sing, you will bow before a huge audience offering the waves of standing ovations to the charisma you possess! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Blues? (still refuse to call you BS)
I thank you kindly...you are just a delight. Period.

M? No ma'am. I hadn't slept. I did the tylenol p.m. thing (can't believe how much money I've wasted on other things trying to sleep) but thank you lady, for popping in on the zombie poet? laughing. With hugs.

Ed? It's true, sometimes I sing as I write, and I know, I've been threatening to record that nonsense for you (and a friend..*wink*)
hmmm...who knows? Thanks with hugs for m'yeti.

Keth? dunno about that one, but I appreciate the vote of confidence. Hugs to you too lady. Maybe next time you are just three hours away, I can come to the party. um, assuming I AM invited...
thanks you.

Kari? Those buttons? It must be psychokinesis or something! *winks-n-hugs*

Kace? My buttons are doing that in all the wrong places today! *frown* Thanks for reading lady!

Martie--chuckling wickedly...I have been tripped over before. During my lost weekend days of course! (of course...) I'll have to tell ya that story sometime..heh. Maybe not.
Hugs to MY FRIEND.

Sweet Noah..dunno what I'd do without your love and light. I thank you much with a kiss on the cheek. You are a wonder, m'friend.

Thanks all. I'm off to put my kitchen back together. Toe tapping frown. Every year? I say never again...sigh, and *wink*

Your writing always stops me in my tracks and makes me want to read it once more.....twice more.....  Awesome. Chris
