Nothing At Bay

I lay
on my side
facing him
he slowly
pulls me
closer
I reach out
to touch
the gulf
of him
unafraid
in the swirl
of tide’s
emotions
as it
washes
me over

I’m not disappointed,  I never expected anything from you.
