I recall the masks we had to peel off, learning about each other. Sometimes, I didn't want to see the real you, and accepting parts of me was equally as difficult for you. But, each courageous peek, revealing who we were fortified our growing love. Stripping off our masks seemed to use so much energy, yet, in reality, it gave us such strength. I'm so glad, we never gave up trying. ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
