It's Time... time to grow up something you've been waiting for... impatiently waiting so why are you scared? why are you unsure? it's too late now you've committed yourself for life... creating a life how are you suppose to feel? how do you feel? so, your scared. get over it you did this so grow up its time now no turning back. *this is a poem i posted in a contest on another site and they actually sent me something in the mail about it being in a book. i dont know if it was legit but i was pretty shocked anyway.* [This message has been edited by neveah5 (11-22-2002 04:00 PM).] |

Neveah, welcome to Passions. There are a few on-line websites that will offer you a chance to be in their book at a cost to you, but it is not a "published book" in the sense that it will reach the masses. I can pull a link if you would like to read up on it. In the meantime, please look around our little home, and stay awhile. welcome to Passions! This is a good poem, straight to the point, a lesson learned. Well as far as the book, the International Library of Poetry is famous for putting out books with your poem in them and you have a chance to buy the book at a discount price. I haven't bought one yet, and haven't seen any of the books I was supposed to be in. I was told that they accept everyone just to get books sold. I don't know. That seems kind of immoral to me. |

This poem is actually about me becoming a mother..a huge step in life that I decided to take probably a little too soon. And I didnt think that the book thing was for real, although it was nice to imagine that it was. Thanks for the comments.  |
