Christmas is Joy

Christmas is joy of the heart and of mind
Food for the spirit and light for the blind
Magical moments for child’s sweet face
Relived by their parents in innocent grace

Christmas is caring for those in distress
Giving oneself for a soul to be blessed
Sharing the moments of faith and belief
Wrapped in a circle of evergreen wreath

Christmas is candles and cookies galore
A string of green laurel around the front door
Icicles , candy canes, Christmas tree lights
Carillons, music and warm cozy nights

Christmas is time standing still for a birth
That altered the visions of souls round the earth
Christmas is humbling, simple in truth
Glorious and grand in the faith it renews

Christmas is icy white glitters of snow
Piled on a windowsill through candle’s glow
Little pure crystals that fall from above
So perfect and delicate - Christmas is Love

(does happy dance) Oh Elizabeth, I love Christmas, Christmas is my favorite day of the year because so much love shines on this day and the meaning of giving and sharing seems to go on even now, yay!
