Caught-A-Thought ~*Marge Tindal*~ I caught-a-thought that flew through the night And spun it around 'til dawn made first light~ Weave of a moment of time-standing-still Hoping that I can capture it in flourish of quill~ So gently this memory touched down slow Until the breeze said It's now time to go ... Then as softly, as it came it left with a promise to return once again~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Marge, it's incredible that you can catch those fantastic night time thoughts. But, why should I be surprised, you catch thoughts 24/7/365!!! I write the most spectacular poems at night and sometimes I even write them down on my note pad. But come morning, either I've forgotten them or what I wrote down is total trash! ;( Funny how that works ~~ Hugs, Marti Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. |
