Crisp and sweet, Divinely weak, Roll out of bed, Enveloping my skin, The winter draught, Closes my mind. Mindlessly meander, Numb to the words, Sweeping wind hits me, I'm carelessly off track, Consciously fretting, It takes my warmth. Staring into lost time, I try to focus, Rigidly unalert with cold, Birdsong breaks the drone, Of halfhearted morning banter, It opens my eyes, And i quickly forget, The deafening cold. |

Nicely described winter experience. "Tu Hoot! Tu Whit!" While greasy janet stirs the pot. Shakespear [Or was it Helen?] [This message has been edited by Radrook (11-24-2002 04:14 AM).] |

it's very descriptive, enough so it makes me want to go back to bed, where it's warm and were coming into summer! Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

It is hard to get passed crawling out of that nice warm bed to be greeted by the coolness of morning. Well written Gem. |
