I see the dim of light again,
the slow descent of bright, to pale.
The fade away of what surrounds
clear perception now does fail,
all is mute as color bleached
white before my longing eyes,
drains from me all artistry
and imagination slowly dies.

The seasons of the heart will grow and fade, and not ever to dim...for they are made of inner light. ThisDiamond

Anne,

Amazing how one can ~see the dim~ while still enlightening others.
That is a real gift. Love your poetry.

Hugs and warm regards, Pat

even in the dim the poet will find poetry, just as you have. nothing especially remarkable to me in this but its just complete and satisfying to the reader.

Your light within,
May brighten and dim
But it will never die

You have a gentle soul and you feel the slings and arrows of life and living more than most people. This may drain the color from your cheeks of rose or may cause your shining light to dim--but these are but passing phases which give you time to regroup and recharge.

~ sending you warm angel hugs

TD, thanks so much, I pray the inner light will blast upon my sight just now.

Thank you Sy, I'm glad you enjoyed.

Thank you Pat, for reading, and for the much appreciated hugs.

Lyra, thank you dear sweet lady, I too am not fond of the dim at all.

Noah, thank you so much dear friend, I am slowly walking to the light at the end of the tunnel. As always, your words touch me.

majnu, my dearest friend, thanks so much for reading. I know it's not remarkable, but I'm glad it touched you in a small way.

Linda, thanks so much for the warm hugs. They are most appreciated just now. This feeling of lifes slings and arrows more so than others, it is a curse that comes with the gift, so I live with it, and embrace it, I just wish it didn't hurt so much at times.
