Picture by Josephine Wall * * * * Lay me softly in the meadow And please stay with me awhile Shower me with your sweet kisses And let me trace around your smile Roll me over in the clover As we frolic in the sun Let me give myself to you For it's my heart you have won Run with me through the valley Beneath the sky so blue My days are always perfect When I spend them loving you Whisper to me sweet nothings Become the keeper of my heart Two souls have been united And will never ever part Our two hearts share a dream 'tho we sing with just one voice I love you without effort I love you simply by choice I am in motion |

"Our two hearts share a dream 'tho we sing with just one voice I love you without effort I love you simply by choice" Sue, I love the whole poem, but this ending stood out to me....so true for couples who are really in love. I love the way you put the pictures in with your poems. I'll be glad when I learn to do that. It really adds to the words. Thanks so much for sharing with us. "Love makes the world go around" |

Sue, I honestly believe you are the queen of romantic love poems. What a gem this is. '... Our two hearts share a dream 'tho we sing with just one voice I love you without effort I love you simply by choice ...' Words to melt the coolest heart. The picture is fascinating. I don't remember seeing this one. I love the details in it. Hugs, Marti |

This sounds close to a love story that I was in the middle of telling. *sigh* Its time to uncap our pen again I think. I enjoyed this. It inspires me to begin again. Lovely... Love is patient, indeed. It endures the distance when it seems we cannot endure it ourselves. |

Pardon me for peeking again, but I begin to think I recognized the painting, and when I noticed the name on the bottom of the painting, I realized I have seen it before. Josephine Wall has some breathtaking artwork, and you have done a wonderful job with this. Love is patient, indeed. It endures the distance when it seems we cannot endure it ourselves. |
