(For you, Joanna, my love!  ) (Art by Kim Morrison) God Put A Halo Around Your Heart By: Noah Eaton 11/16/02 O' Joanna Fairest, sweetest love How the swallows chortle for you Divaricating the heavens for you Because my love for you is infinite I wrote for you From the charity in my hand A red velvet dithyramb To wear as a wedding band So wherever you go you feel my kiss Hold me, lift me from this aestivation Fly on my wind, I'll be your aviation With your smile, you clear my concentration When I close my eyes and feel your warm kiss It's like Braille no angel can recognize That no god can metabolize My sweet Joanna... I would dive from mountains I would swim entire oceans for you No lagniappe I offer can explain how much my love is true My lungs are like helium balloons Waiting to burst so I can fall into your arms Your eyes are painted green with the cream of the moon Loves truth is written in your magnanimity Grace fills all your methodology Only God can explain your topography God, it's great to be alive, swimming with you in the stars My love for you is beyond catholic Every little song you sing is magic Only blinking my eyes to your sighs is tragic I feel like a homing pigeon Who goes weak and vertiginous To your soft moist cherry kiss My sweet Joanna... As the consumate artistic soul, it is understandable that you have to put one of your talents on the back burner at times, so that you may hone the skills of another!
