Listening to every heart

Sun’s Chocolate Fall

a brief break,
a thin slim moment of breathe
between this-and-that

a small piece of Dove dark
smoothness to push the
inner charge along past the peak
of day

but best of all
a message inside the wrapper…

“You are the star
for which all evenings wait…”

so past the melt
of smooth creamy dark chocolate
the wry smile pondered

for only if I disappear
will the evening
shine.

UMMM....excuse me while I go get a piece of chocolate. I love it, too...one of my weaknesses!!! I love Hershey's Kisses, though.

HMMMM chocolate..I had to run out and buy a Crispy Crunch after reading this...Has anyone seen Enchantress?...I'm afraid her tongue may still be stuck to her computer screen..

Talk about the power of suggestion!
I had seen your title and it must have sent an urgent message to my brain for me to eat some chocolate--but, alas, there wasn't anything in my fridge except fresh fruits, vegetables, yogurt... blah, blah, blah...Nothing at all that was good to eat! Then I had an epiphany! I headed for the pantry, and there on the shelf sat a welcomed sight!--a big container of whey protein powder---chocolate flavor! I just mixed it with some milk and voila--instant relief! Believe you me it has never tasted as good as it does now!...Well, I guess I'll get back to my delicious CHOCOLATE power drink! Enjoyed the poem and I'm enjoying my chocolate fix! tehe

I have a sweet tooth for chocolate..my friends know I'm notorious

and btw those dove chocolates used to be my grandmother's favorite I haven't touched them since she passed away actually and funny thing is, after she passed away I found some of those chocolates in her pocket, obviously I didn't eat them I kind of kept them lol now how silly am I!?

Suddenly, I have this craving....for a stroll in the bright sunlight and a Hershey's Chocolate Bar (with almonds, of course)
