Listening to every heart

Soft steps, slow squishing
Toe solid, seems slippery
Snow comes silently
But look, ballerinas seem
To not mind the cold at all

i love the last couple lines; the little trees do look that way don't they?

this makes me think perhaps some day I should visit snowfall, not fallen snow.

I love those 'ballerina' trees.
What a great picture! And a cool poem too.

Winter has never danced so divinely.

Thank you.

Mesmerized in dance
Perfect snow-draped pirouette
Leaping towards the sun
Nature's spotlight glistening
Here on winter's center stage

Karilea...this is beautiful, my friend.
Thanks for the inspire...shhhhh...
Hugs to you,

Great imagery, Karilea.  I've never thought ofhte trees quite like that, but it is exactly right.

Le blanc’ pas de deux’
Winter stage an icy pond
Ballerina tears
Begin falling so softly
Snowflakes on my eyelashes

Oh you know I loved this one right?
