and the fear retreats,
another day brings the simple things
to spirit me through
the long and short of it.

coming back to me
as my mind researches
it's inner limits

like a treasure in the attic
something to behold

I rest my eyes
let the lion in me sleep
remembering the first time, returning,
the essence of trust begging

I climbed your ladder
repetition of steps
calling me, teaching me
to reach out, higher
beyond the shadows of hurt,
to mend the broken
time after time
the future seducing me
in the present

an early frost christens the morning
painting my cheeks in blush
as I walk along side
the poetic dreams
surrendering unconditionally
to a new day.

I find these and the others you have done of late to be quite good...and you wear this style well...saying much in just a few.

Little Mo darling heart, you don’t know how awed I am of you when you write like this. That you can write well I acknowledge, when you write and the image is as clear and fresh as this is I applaud you, when you do so and my spirit lifts to dance I stand and shout well done. Without doubt you are inarguably a fantastic writer,
