Once Upon A Misty Night |

A mist rose up to stroke my feet as I walked on down lonely street An owl called out through the night as though he understood my plight. The shadows held me in their arms strangely I felt no sense of harm comraderie with all lost souls seeking for what might make us whole. The moonight sparkled though the mist reminding me of his last kiss A moment passed in other time where once I dreamt that he was mine. One solitary lamp still glowed slowly I turned toward my abode and walked back to my lonely place where darkness held me in embrace. Sandra, May your future be as bright as your past! Peace to you. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. [This message has been edited by Larry C (11-14-2002 01:57 PM).] |
