the wonderful land of oz

Wasted and
bringing
up all of those memories
into the porcelain
I lay myself
open to regret.
Tell  me deary, do you
think I’ll ever really
get over it?

Though my colour’s great
and the French broad tells
me I’ve never looked
better...
[She doesn’t know.]

Circling
linguistics -
another little tornado of mine.
And so I say!
Tell me Sharon,
why isn’t this an issue?
[Give me reason to suspect
the holy man
lied - once again/
his charade
of
no name semi-sweet
chocolate chips].

My lips are burning
and so dry - I’m
parched.
This soul is
withering out
and the teeth
are rotting to the core.
Smile baby,

another secret to swallow.

Jen~
Yes...If you explained it all, it WOULD make perfect sense.
This is another excellent piece, Jen.
There is so much depth of emotion and meaning in this
and so much of YOU as well.
I'm very glad you shared this with us...and with me.
I'll be watching for lots more.
Hugs,
~Vicky

eating its own tail.
