Sometimes I feel as though my heart may break That my chest will open from the searing pain Of the immense anguish that threatens To tear my very soul from me. A pain so sharp, a thousand daggers could not compare A knife through the heart has no relevance here, No meaning, for it does not even begin To describe the pain I feel within. |

Ouch! This was painful to read. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

There is probably no greater angst than that of being in pain and the fruitless quest to put to words in such a way that you might be able to seperate yourself from it, for just a moment, to be able to step back and name that intangible nightmare so that you might wake from it. Good luck with yours. |

I do know how you feel... Nice poem. I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait. |
