Why And The Wherefores Why suddenly a friendship Comes to lose its glow I awaited for answers Perhaps I’ll never know Why do all the promises Begin losing their shine Until there was distance From your heart to mine Why do gaps grow wider Without any explanation Silence requires reason You stop communication Why nothing was spoken Then you fade from view Can friends be re-united The answers are with you Why and the wherefores With no sign to signify Could I reach you again Does my heart still qualify Hope ©2002 |
