Rain sounds different upon bed of
leaves that now cover the ground
of fall. Autumn colors that once
swayed with breeze upon tree, now
lie there, on lawn and street,
soft crackling noise as the sweet
rain of autumn cleanses the earth.

The rain drops remind me of when I was a small child during the long and quiet days hiding in the house afraid of the storms rampage but within a few years I would leave my safe domain and run like a lunatic in the slick streets drenched by the wet sheets from the sky

(sigh) Oh Anne, this is gorgeous, sweet friend, though the spring is my favorite season because of the rain and flowers blooming I also love the fall rain because it is cool and comforting! (kiss on cheek) This is a lovely vision, sweet friend, yay, I love it, w eall love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing!

i let out a sigh after reading this. half for the loss of summer, and half for the time before the coming spring, but you make even autumn somewhat pleasant.

You make this sound so enticing and beautiful! Now if the 'sweet rain' could just clean AWAY all those leaves, I'd be ecstatic.
