Wearing A Pretty Face I've seen beyond those eyes before not noticing their blue. I've released my pain in droplets, words that often reign on you. I try to wear a pretty face dressed up for you in smiles. But in my mind, my life is filled with many endless trials. I'm caught up in the more of you the closer we are bound. And steal the unexpected where battled thoughts are often found. I'm just a shadow dreamer reaching out in want of more. In silence-soft, the words I write I've worn for you before. Those dreams I have, I wouldn't change my path of love lies there. I journey through my days till nights not knowing what I'll wear. Constantly, I mend myself in shadows, dreamer I, to wear for you my pretty face and hide those tears I cry. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

(smiles) Now, slowly remove the seaweed of camouflage as you emerge fro your ocean of shadows and reveal all those precious smiles forever after! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, you always express yourself so well, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Maureen, I just find this heartbreaking.... your ability to write feelings, and so much more, so skillfully is wonderful. It put tears in my eyes. You've made it easy to read between the lines, and, as someone said, I think we've all felt this at sometime. But, sometimes, the sometimes seem to last forever. But, they won't. There is ever the rainbow and the promise of so much better to come... God Bless.... Hugs and with warm regards. Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

I know this well, and you've expressed your emotions well with appropriate rhyme and mastered meter from what I can see. This tugs at the heart and is a keeper~ Take care, Melissa~ "Poetry is not an opinion expressed... |

Damn! How do you know what I feel, and exactly how to put it into words? That's just spooky, Maureen...really strange! It amazes me sometimes how much we are alike. [This message has been edited by passing shadows (11-11-2002 05:21 AM).] |

I must say, this was amazing. I loved it. It was beautiful, and it had depth. The two parts I quoted really struck me, and now I'm thinking... thoughts I maybe don't want but need to face up to. Thanks. Kielo According to statistics, a man eats a prune every twenty seconds. I don't know who this fellw is, but I know where to find him. |
