Let's go start out own society, letting in only those who've stood up for their values. A sense of right and inner strength, a wholesome respect for all things natural, and, a genuine ~joy of working~ will be the requirements. Then we can unleash the kind of creativity needed to eke out of the earth, substance for good living, while giving back to it a reflection of its creator. Let's go start our own society so we can finally breathe the fresh air of clean living. . . . . . . . . Note: many years ago my boyfriend and I exchanged books to read. His to me were the FountainHead and Atlas Shrugged.... The author so inspired me with characters she 'built', that this poem was the result of how she ~caused~ me to feel....Reading *her for me was like breathing the fresh air of clean living.... *Ayn Rand, the author... PS...mine to him? the bible, for one.... tsk! which we mulled over a lot! ![]() ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. ~K~ Yes, I do....when I first read her many years ago I was astounded; Thanks for the tip. She has to be my single favorite writer! There aren't any adjectives "I" know of to describe her talent.... Not only could she create incredible characters, but, her love scenes were something awesome, as well, as were many of her concepts, which go way over my head, and I am not even qualified to discuss... Am glad you could relate to this; I thought I'd get no replies....I knew I didn't have the spelling right on her name. TY for that as well. I'll go fix it.. warm regards, Pat ![]() ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Pat, it sounds like I would love this author. I've got to make a note of these books. By the way, I love your poem. It is very well written and wouldn't that society be good to live in? I'd also like to say to you that I love the way you bring God and His word into your words and replies. It's very refreshing to see someone who isn't ashamed of God. Thanks for sharing your feelings and your thoughts. "Love makes the world go around" |

Yes, let's start over! We have made so many mistakes since the inception of mankind. Ideally, it would be wonderful to keep all the growth and advancements man has achieved up until now, just get rid of the "bad stuff"! Great poem! Great thoughts! You were inspired by the best! ~ happy hugs EA |

BTW...glad you got my e-mail and I got yours...glad you did that...more smiles.... Hugs, Pat Linda, Ah, that we could...just get rid of the "bad stuff"...guess that is what heaven will be for...sadly, we have to wait til then to breathe that fresh air... Thanks for responding Hugs, Pat Noah...Thank you for responding. I don't think she ever wrote poetry, but I could be wrong. If she did, I most likely would have to have someone interpret it for me. ![]() ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
