(I wrote this awhile ago) The hollow land, The days gone by, The memory sleeps, The idea's die. The familiar place, The good 'ol times, Do I remember you? Or did you die? As smiles fade, Tears flow down, Doors are closed, Windows in disguise. Figures weep, While I hide, Empty space sleeps, I close my eyes. Don't want to see, Would hate to know, Anyways I ask, Why, I don't know. What good it does, Is unknown to me, In the end, Only empty is left for me. |
