If I could but look at the book, the book of fate. Would words bless the eyes in kindness or in harsh reality of what’s to come? Would the evening breeze bring forth the rains of hope or the dust of desolation, the storms of agony? Calm of the yellow moon, lying still upon a distant horizon as stars line the earth in a necklace of shimmering jewels... Would this await the break of new dawn? Or would fate lie at the doorstep of life, coiled as a waiting serpent? Let the eyes of mortal man cast a gaze upon the parchment of one’s destiny.Let the mind accept the cast die....rolling against the wall of souls. Let the heart beat the crimson flow within veins as courage quells the fear of that which might come before one, staring into the soul. Will the winds of time blow a page, hiding the future of doom, or flutter the lids of fate, squinting into the past, saying to me, ominously... “Beware”?? Feel the roughness of grainy sand flowing through fingers worn.Feel the souls sliding through the cracks of the wall...as the die lies still...as the last die is cast....from the book of fate... Nice poem.. Good work. I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait. |

An ethereal feel to this write Mag...so be it...fate will come, of it's own accord...and we will summon the angels. ThisDiamond |

(sigh) This reminded me so much of Jumanji, sweet friend, this is a very eerie poem bursting with many valid thoughts and wisdom, indeed fate is the greatest riddle of all, then again it's much deepe rthan any riddle, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
