standing on a shadow's lace

Hero

was it you
that again
made me feel
like a woman
smoothing once
rough edges
making me soft
over shadowing
my weaknesses
to bring strength
in sight
accepting
the truth in me
believing in me
when no one else
had the courage
becoming the hero
of my heart

I’m not disappointed, I never expected anything from you.

(smiles) Oh Helen, I just love this, sweet firend, and to have the courage to reveal the unrequited love to another is truly heroic to both your own soul and to another to let him or her know how special another is!
