A safe place is the garden, where our tears can fall to earth Where labour’s shown by beauty and where nature finds our worth Our mistress to frustration, to the thoughts that fill the mind Where stress goes off to wander and where peace we tend to find |

Yes, Rick I believe this to be true. Nature does have a way of healing, or, at least releasing our pent up feelings. Soothing, as is this poem. Usually, any body of water does it for me. Warm Regards, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

This is a very good poem. Short, but never forgotten.. Good job, and keep it up! I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait. |

I do that as well---commune with nature. It soothes my mind and spirit. I also enjoy sitting in a garden in a soft rain where all my cares are washed away. Beautiful poem. Earth Angel |
