'Twas around about November in the year 2002 that the "Doc" was shootin' of his mouth, as he was prone to do. He was fixin' fer a challenge, jest a spoilin' fer a fight, what he said shore wasn't pretty, but, gol dang, thet boy could write! He done started in one evenin', 'bout ol' "Deer" was pokin' fun. Near as I can tell "Deer" missed it, or jest turned around and run, cuz there weren't no back talk comin', not one witty reparte' so ol' Doc he jest kept writin' sayin' "C'mon, make my day!" Next he took to messin' with the one they all call Lhn Jhn Ag, he done said some stuff was pretty rough ( ol' Doc he liked to brag), "Ah kin shoot the pecker off an ant from 15 miles away!" Much like "Deer" there wasn't no reply, at least not to this day. Now, ol' Doc was feelin' cocky, he went gunnin' fer ol' Toe, an' said some thangs would curl yer hair ( were there some left, yanno) ol' Toe he musta missed 'em jest as plain as " if yuh please" the town-folk stared laughin' I done heard their tee-hee-hees. From here the story varies, all depending who yuh ask, there's some that say the three of them done took ol' Doc to task, but, me I'm of the notion they was all a-feared to show, them "Tumble-weeds of Passions" had been dealt a fearsome blow! |

Mr. Moose, I just don't think those other "lunatics" have seen it yet. If they had, I'm certain they couldn't resist leaving you a "message" for this one and from your "Minor Indiscretions" one, too.. Doc, you 'operate' with finesse and innuendo--but with the occasional shot right between the eyes! lol You have a wonderfully acerbic wit! Glad Sunshine shone her light on this one and brought it back into view! EA |

Doc serenity, Ah got's mah badge outta a gol-dang gumball machine, but I'm ah writin' tough an' rhymin' mean. Thanks. Doc EA, Thanks,(I think)."Acerbic", now I done heard that one before, wait, don't tell me, that's what happens when ya stick a cheap pen in yore back pocket an' it leaks ink all over your butt, right? Doc Madame C. Well I'm glad you're still following along and offering a word of encouragement here and there. Being that your the fastest chipmunk in the west, I may need a little backup, consider yourself deputized. Doc |

Old gunfighters clearly understand Scenarios like these. Some brash young 'slinger comes to town To bring them to their knees. They think that they can build a rep By taking on the best But there's no rep that's valid When yore bones are laid to rest. You swat 'em down or spank 'em or Ignore them if you can And leave them with the fantasy That they are quite a man But if they still don't take the hint Ya have to shoot 'em down So they will rue the day they brought Their six-gun mouth to town. So now I see another one To show up on the scene. I'll try to take him gently Since I don't like being mean. I've heard he's pretty quick, though, So I won't take foolish chances. Ok, stranger, make yore move And welcome to the dances!!! |

Balladeer, "Welcome to the dances?"Now that's a stretch by far. Maybe in a different world they might know who you are. Because I think so highly of your mastery of words, I will not point out that your ending rhyme's absurd. Come and taste the necter of a god with two more feet. Never ever will the the likes of me say that you're sweet. As apple pumpkin peaches pie,it's " who's not ready holler "I". And then de-cry ,"I have been beat" For "Doc" will not admit defeat. |

LOL! My ending rhyme may be absurd But grammar will not sink so low To use the phrase "I have been beat" That's no English that I know! |
