wet fingers filled by tears draw a name across the sand leaving behind no trace only waiting anxiously to deceit more in skies wait a steady race to clue you in deeper than a puddle love crawls again behind you it'll get you when you least expect it will kindly offer a hand then snatch it away why can't people grow old in peace a tiny glitch in the world of helpless humans race i am going to fall it isn't about you why would i care so much as to leave palms sweaty in the life of a queen worrying about nothing and i laughing uncontrollably because you are pitiful you know i don't mean it, i never do so you think will you believe the same thing when i tell you something is wrong with me or you would you believe me then course not, nothing changes the old world of black and white too bad dorothy and her farm house couldn't see how much we have and how little we appreciate it sometimes until the oceans take over us making string puppets out of ties that wouldn't bond us simply force we won't change maybe its for the best Morning mist clings to my face, and my soul opens up to you...... |

Riley, you're quickly becoming one of my fav poets in Teen. I liked this piece all the way through. Especially the middle. I couldn't quite pick a favourite line(s). Keep writting dear, I'll keep reading. -tiff- “A single choice can build destinies, or destroy them.” |

That was one of the best poems I've read on here. Great work, but I'm not sure that I get the title. Rememberance is not what? Maybe it's not for me to get, I don't know. -Stinky Twinkie- [This message has been edited by Stinky Twinkie (11-28-2002 09:20 AM).] |

KnightlyShadows: Thank you a lot. Your favorite? Awesome... Twinkie: The title has a kind of second meaning for me. Remebrance is Not....is ties in with the way that I don't want to remeber all of the stuff in the poem...sort of...it's hard to explain.... Riley Morning mist clings to my face, and my soul opens up to you...... |
