Again You came once, and now you come again, to take what you can get. I never can find the strength, it's all gone, every little bit. Why can't I just stand up and tell you I don't want to? Maybe because we know that would be a lie, we both know that I want you. All your words just sound so good, they get me every time. Even though I've heard it all before, I melt with every line. Time and time again, you get my hopes up high, just to crush them down once more, all you ever do is lie. Why does she get the best of you, and I'm just left behind? Can't you see I'm worth it? What else do you hope to find? So why do I settle, bargain and compromise? When I know I can do better, looking through anothers' eyes. I tell myself next time will be different, I won't do anything the same. Then I lose all my strength right when you say my name. Over and over, once and again. When will this stop? Can I ever slow the spin? Now that you've come again, when will the next time be? I hope that I can find the strength, to just get up and leave. |

WOW! loved it! and i know how it feels cause its happening to me.. u just love them so much u can't tell them no! hope to see more poems from u b/c i really enjoyed this one |
