In the dreams I hide
From fears in my life
Not wanting to wake
Happy in my dreams

I walk in sunlight
From inside
Not wishing to wake
Into hurt and pain

In my own world
Im happy so happy
Why should I wake?
To that life I hate

hey I know how you feel. I was like that for a long time and only about 2 months ago I got a wake up call. I'm a completely different person now. I hope things get better for you like they did for me.

i can relate to this one very much !
its crazy how staying in bed and dreaming of better things is more appealing than waking up and starting a new day ... but it seems as if there is too much time in the day to think of depressing things * well i will stop rambling now!*
anyways good poem

I like this...I can definitely relate. It's so great knowing that you can go to sleep and escape everything...yet so depressing knowing that you have to wake up into your own little world of hell.

Really nice job. I love it!
