leaf of change you dont even notice anymore, do you? i could be talking or screaming right beside your ear and you would take no notice of it. time brings change for everything, but change often surpasses time. it seemes like just yesterday when i could whisper your name and you would turn so quickly to listen to the things i was saying. no more though, not in these times. watching leaves fall outside my window isnt the same when im alone. before it brought good talks and closeness from sharing everything. now its is just another reminder of how i falied again. so i reach out and keep a leaf i'll watch the color change. it symbolizes the fall of summer's love now gone. i wrote this song a little while ago, thought someone might like it. Your little world You stare across the room, you're dead to everything but him the silence spells my doom i cant even hear whats wrong with you keep the tears alone hidden away from your view be strong like a stone that what everyone tells me now i stand outside your house the light is shining out your window i will be here till you come to me from inside your little world you scream of all the years all the times when we were young in spirit events are building up your fears but its ok, at least youve got him these days will always drag on you only talk about your concern for him i confess my love not gone you ignore it, make me cry on the inside the pain is left inside my ears the words still ring so true anthems of all my love playing out words bring me fresh tears but my world is so alone so i stand outside your house the rain is streaming down you window i will die here till you come from inside your little world the night is here to stay i realize this out your window i guess ill see you as you walk away from inside my little world [This message has been edited by young_blood (09-19-2003 09:21 PM).] |

Just irony notes are scattered across the room ive been tearing through these papers for some time ive searched in my cabinets, drawers, under my bed for the words i knew were written. every letter was filled to the brink with love the words brought me up each day now i cant even read the notes the ink has begun running down the pages. funny how you wrote me in red pen because the wet ink now drips like blood. its staining my carpet and pooling on my bed, so i lay face down on my sheets for reflection. the crimson puddle is tinted with old memories that replay like black and white movies. i lose track of the time the flashbacks come more quickly. how many hours have passed? not that i would move even if i knew. soon the pictures fade to a solid black ive lost conscience and fallen into darkness. death follows closely like a child to its father but death's sting is far worse than a child's scream. did you somehow foresee this? you knew this was going to hapen, you prayed for it. what type of ink did you use? one filled with all the hurt and pain ive caused you. im sure that this is humorous to you and that you find it to be Just Irony. |
