so.
you called.

and got me to ring you back.

almost two days before we were planning our
ENGAGEMENT

but

you said
you'd fallen for someone else.
and you'd met her once.
and that two years of love and happiness

didn't matter.
so now
i ache.
all over

for your guitar hands and

the chance to shout at you for chewing with your mouth open.
now she can do it.
after all...

it doesn't matter.

Each letter written wastes your hand young man, come lead me to your bed...

wow bee, I'm sorry.

Some people..huh. Well great poem. I hope things change. There's really nothing to say in these instances, I wish there was. Someone should write a handbook. Good thing you didn't marry him.
