running through fields of gold with all but a memory to keep me tied by the hands to fence posts of deep-rooted lies the twine around my flesh broken as it cuts delicately brittle wrists the scars will never leave like paths cut through the earth's terra cotta plains not from fingers but by the potter's feet and Bohemian songs notes trilling sweetly 'fore they fade faintly aware of how you follow picking up pieces of my aura to add them to yours as it splinters from the centuries though I can't take my eyes off you invisibly watching through the strands of hair that fell in front of my vision entangled from the listless weaving of dreams during the night all dressed up in these fields of gold and silver breaths with no where to go but home For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.--"Romeo and Juliet" [This message has been edited by IndigoEve (08-24-2003 12:03 AM).] |
