I lost my best friend the other day
I lost him to the drugs
He has no time to hang out anymore
All he cares about is getting stoned

He said he was gonna change
And that he was gonna get off the drugs
But I guess he lied
Cause he is still addicted

He ran away last week
He was gone for four days straight
Nobody knew where he went
All I knew was that he was gone

I'm really starting to miss him now
I miss the good times we had
I wish the drugs would loose there affect
I wish I could have my friend back
