(I have posted this poem before also...but i am going through my stuff and i was wondering what people think of it.) Love is living Living is love Who cares about the details? The pointless cares and troubles That people are sick of Breathing is living Living is breathing Who cares about the goals of life The intensity and hardship That people go through Everything taken for granted Are the only things in life The things that people throw aside Are worth no amount of money Only living. If everyone was gone tomorrow Would it all be worth it? The pain and courage inside their souls That their lives never saw Would everyone be happy? Why do people want to care About the things that are meant to happen? There is nothing to be done But forget and move on Until the next thing happens. Everything taken for granted Are the only things in life The things that people throw aside Are worth no amount of money Only living. |

I agree with your last reply about the second to last stanza. That made me like this poem even more. Great message, as well... "The pain and courage inside their souls That their lives never saw..." Those two lines right there were...PERFECT! Great work! ~Jess "At the touch of love, everything becomes a poem." -Plato |
