Hello, poets. I'm back.

Darkness falling on the ground,
Music loud, the only sound.
The raindrops start to softly fall,
'Til heaven's tears envelop all.

Thankyou to the raindrops
Crying for me.
I've cried until I cannot weep,
But anguish deep inside I keep.
Thankyou to the angels -
For crying rain for me.

Wipers wipe away the tears
Hidden for so many years -
If I drive a little faster,
Will I die and find the answers?
Singing of my hopeless life,
All the things I love to fight,
Singing of the day I die,
Thinking of the times you lied,
If I scream a little louder -
Screaming just a little louder -
Will it make the pain retreat?
Will it stop the broken beat?

Thankyou to the dark, cold drops
Raining down on me.
Thankyou to the golden angels
Crying rain for me.

I like it i like it i like it!

All the lines are absolutely spectacular, but most of them are and the filler lines give you time to think-- i love this SO MUCH you have no idea. From the first stanza I knew it would be a favorite because it just flows so well its like a song. wowowowowowow you are my favoritooo

It's been such a long time since I've read a poem as touching as this one. I feel, that this is the type of poem that makes you sit back and think, almost in awe when you're done reading it.

I've been posting/reading poems on here for quite a while...and I used to enjoy reading yours...glad to see your back!
