Sitting on the porch swing I gaze into the sunset. The breeze gently blows through my hair, Giving me goose bumps. The swing gently rocks me As the wind sings a lullaby. It sooths me, calming my soul, Leaving me tranquil and free. The concrete is cold underneath my feet Making my body slightly shiver. I close my eyes and take it all in Putting everything from my past behind me. Time goes on by And the sun finally sets; I sit with the dark sky above me. The stars shine down, Like a thousand tiny diamonds, As I let the memory of you fade. Sitting on this porch swing I gaze into the darkness. The breeze is now but a ghost. What we once were And what we have become Are now left to the secrets of the night.* "In life you must dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and love like it's never going to hurt..." |

Wow Jenn...I really like this one. I think this may be one of your best. You did a beautiful job with this...everything flowed so perfectly. Absolutely beautiful. Love's. As I smile at everyone else, I'm dying inside... ~Me |
