Time Passes So Slowly

Lost and Broken

Sitting alone in a cold room
Waiting for the time to pass
Minutes turning into hours
And hours turning into days
After abruptly awakening from this silent peacefulness
I come to realize that I have not been sleeping
I have been in a daze
A psychopathic maze
Turning any one feeling into dust
Not allowing any sense of warmth to approach me
For I am far too distracted
Just waiting for the time to pass
Minutes turning into hours
And hours turning into days

As I smile at everyone else, I'm dying inside... ~Me

Ahh... okay, I just decided I love your poetry. So now I must thread you to my library.

I don't usually get along well with un-rhyming things... perhaps because I don't usually understand them, or they don't keep interest enough for me to keep reading. But yours... are some of the best I've seen. Maybe because I can relate... anyway, keep on writing!
