Hey hey hey.  It was just pointed out to me that today is exactly my 2 year anniversar on PIP! lol  and I just passed the 600 post mark, so that's pretty cool!  Anyway, I think I'm friends with Perfect...  -sigh-  Yes, I know that "perfect" can't really exist, but some people come really close.  Anyway, let me know what you think.

A ONE SIDED CONVERSATION
WITH PERFECT

Hi, Hello
My name is Cody.
I'm assuming you are Perfect.
I've heard a lot about you
       but I never thought we'd meet
You're the last girl I expected
       to run into around here.

Perfect...
       is that your name?
I don't think I caught it
       but as we sit here and talk
       you're seeming more and more like her.

I've been looking for you
       not sure you're someone I'd really find.
Here you are, though
       Perfect in the flesh.
You're more amazing
       then I could have ever imagined.

I guess I should be going
       there is a lot left to be done.
Besides, what would a girl like you
       want with a boy like me?
I'm just an average Joe,
       a normal guy.
       a typical fish in the sea.

But Perfect
       promise me one thing.
If you see something in me
       that you've just got to have
       let me know.
A girl like you
       is what I've always looked for
       and all a good ol' boy like me
       could ever need.

Hey bud!! Yes! I so know what it's like to be friends with perfect!!...sigh... Kinda sucks in a way don't it? Well it was a very good poem, a little different than your usuall style but very 'heart spoken' if that makes any sense. I enjoyed it very much!

The title is awesome...has a wry tone of cynicism but also truth.

Always, ALWAYS conversations with "perfect" will be one sided.

They don't listen.

They don't have to.

They know everything yanno...

sigh..

Enjoyed this much, m'friend..has a gentle edge of bite to it.

This is a very beautiful poem. Yes...it's kind of upsetting being friends with "Perfect," isn't it?? *Sighs...* Anyway...I love your work, and this one just adds to my favorites. Nice job.

awesome!!!! the idea behind this is really creative...glad I bumped int oit on my way outta here... hope this perfect girl rubs off on ya and you can be the "perfect couple"...think all us guys could handle that.
