Come to wash away,
all the dirt and grime,
that has populated,
over all this time.

Come to cleanse this,
now infilterated soul,
so that once again,
I can feel whole.

Come to heal me,
of this sickness deep inside,
that sent me on a downward spiral
toward all those nights I cried....

This one was awesome, I felt it. Thanks for being strong enough to share it with the world. Sometimes I feel I shouldnt be writing poetry as a male however there are times like this when I understand the capabilities of poetry and realize that it is an effective medium to convey your thoughts. Thanks once again,

This was good. I enjoyed the theme of getting over whatever had you down. Letting go and accepting things is pretty much all we can do sometimes.
