You and I were once close
but now I feel
like we're drifting apart.
It hurts.
I miss you
though I see you every day.
You're always with her.
I turn to you for friendship
but you aren't there.
I turn to you for comfort
but you turn away.
Your rejection
is like a slap across the face.
You're there
but not for me.
Yesterday I was upset.
You ignored it
as if you hardly knew me.
What happened?
Why did you change?
Was it me?
I hate this.
This feeling that we're drifting.
Drifting apart.

Great poem!! I know exactly how you feel!! I hope things work out for you...I feel like my closest guy friend is drifting from me and it really hurts...Just talk to the person I am sure that will help!!!!!Awesome poem!!!!
