Everytime I think of you
a chill runs down my spine
The moments slowly freeze
and then become...memories.

Everytime I think of you
I find myself alone
Nightmares filled with violent fears
pillow drenched by...scarlet tears.

Everytime I think of you
I find myself surrounded
by broken flowers of everyday
send the pain...away.

Everytime I think of you
I become engulfed in flames
that swallow me whole
the pain is killing...my soul.

I really liked this one Staci! Sounds like something I would write. LOL. I think I wrote a poem similar to this, but it's in my old poetry book...the one filled with all the ones I hate and cannot believe I wrote. LOL. Great wording...I like the line about the pillow drenched with scarlet tears. Great job sweetie!
