I miss you

Whish I could rekindle what you and I had
But I know that this would never happen
You have moved on and now its my time too
But I can’t

You still hold a grip on my heart
That you want let go of
I miss you so much as a friend
I lost you

Things between you and I are so awkward
My insecurities ruled my actions
They made me run from you
I pushed you away when you wanted me the most

I was so naïve
You were the first person I ever cared this much about
I let you take my heart and run with my emotions
My heart smashed into a thousand pieces when you ended things

You have a new girl now
It kills me when I see you with her
You look so happy
I want you to look at me like you look at her

Someday I will get over you
Till this day I will dream of you every night
Wish on every shooting star
And pray you will come back to me

I like the first 3 stanze best.

Maybe I am not praying...but I know...
You are always listening...to my soul...
