I hate it when he is mad I hate it when he is sad I wish I could protect him From everything that is bad Hold him in my arms Shelter him from the world Not letting anything bother him again I hope that one day, Whoever has hurt him and made him cry, Get what they deserve. I hate them more than anything I want to stop the cutting Stop the crying Stop the hurting And make it all good But I can do none of this And it hurts me to know it I hate the feeling I get Knowing he is upset It makes my heart ache And makes the tears fall I only want to protect him from it all It gets me mad To think how these People treat him so bad He has never Done anything to them Nothing to make them angry or sad So why does he deserve to feel this bad? He is himself He is the person I have come to know The person I have grown To feel and care for He has been there for me Whenever I have needed him For this, I cannot thank him enough A true friend is what he is I couldn’t wish for anyone better I have tried to be There for him always And I will try to be forever I want him to know That if he ever needs A friend or someone to talk to When he is feeling down, That I will be here And that’s the reason for this, To let my feelings be known |

How lovely... what a tribute! Definetly not the same sort of tribute, say, Tenacious D sung... most would say better! I hope you show this to him, if you feel it wouldn't harm the situation, because this piece was lovely, endearing. A great first post. Welcome! Please, make yourself known, enjoy yourself. A few lines stuck out to me as not flowing with the rest of the poem: "Not letting anything bother him again" and "I have tried to be There for him always" Not sure what I would do differently, but they distracted me from the poem itself. Not the words, their layout. ~Titus Studieren Sie die Toten für das Leben. |
